Boat Diving

In this course, you will become familiar with different types of dive boats and gain insight into the advantages and methods of boat diving. You will learn the proper techniques to safely dive from various types of dive boats anytime, anywhere. You will also learn correct water entry and exit techniques, the specifics of moving around on a boat, as well as safety protocols and emergency procedures related to dive boats.

Prerequisite: OWD certification

The course includes two boat dives.

Complete your registration in the SSI training system according to the instructions below.

  1. Scan this QR code or register on the divessi.com website. Complete the registration process and make sure to provide an active email address.
  2. You will receive a confirmation email from SSI—once that’s done, your registration is complete.
  3. The easiest way to access your profile is through the MySSI app, which you can download for both IOS and Android. Fill in your details and upload a photo that will also appear on your certification card. Be sure to read the photo requirements.
  4. All your data, information, learning materials, dive logs, and certification card will be available here. Take some time to explore the features of the app.
