Evdilos:

A larger settlement on the northern side of the island with a ferry port. Visitors can enjoy coffee at the seaside cafés, dine in tavernas, and take a walk through the old town.

Kampos:

It was Ikaria’s old capital. The archaeological museum houses artifacts from local and regional excavations. Remains of an old Byzantine church can also be found here.

Kampos beach:

A sandy, almost deserted beach. Freshwater turtles can be seen in the mountain stream’s basin right next to the shore. The crystal-clear water offers opportunities for swimming and snorkeling.

Theoktistis temple:

An old stone church and monastery from the 16th century, an iconic building of Ikaria. A contemporary traditional dwelling showcases the everyday objects used by people of that era.

Gialiskari:

A tiny fishing village with a seaside chapel – perfect for photos! 🙂

Beach access is available if desired.

Nas:

A settlement at the northwestern tip of the island, frequently visited by tourists. A beautiful small bay features the remains of the Artemis Temple dating back to the 6th century BC. Dining is available on a charming terrace above the sea, where you can enjoy the sunset in the evening.
