Half-day eastern tour by car
Agia Kiryaki:
A small chapel next to the fishermen’s harbor, usually open to visitors. Here, a healing spring can be found, primarily effective for treating joint problems. The pool is naturally formed and suitable for 2-3 people to bathe at the same time.
Iero - beach:
Beach time and snorkeling in one of Ikaria’s most charming bays. After swimming, we hike up to the Dionysos Cave, then follow a scenic mountain trail to the Drakano Tower. The hike takes about an hour along a rocky but passable path. (It is possible to skip the mountain hike and reach the tower by car.)
Drakano:
The 3rd-4th century BC watchtower and excavations at the eastern tip of the island offer stunning panoramic views of Samos and the nearby Fourni islands. If desired, we can descend from here to Agios Georgios Bay in about 20 minutes along a beautiful walking route, where you can enjoy a refreshing swim in the shallow, crystal-clear waters. The shore is sandy and pebbly, making it perfect for relaxation.
Faros:
A 3-4 km long, fine-pebble beach offers opportunities for sunbathing and snorkeling. Two restaurants and a café await visitors directly on the shore.
The price includes snorkeling equipment and drinking water for the trip. Food and drinks consumed on-site are to be paid individually.
Tour price: €30 per person
Group size: 3-8 people
Duration: 4-5 hours
